Description:
Sales of Process
Control Instrumentation to a wide range of industrial
process accounts and municipal water and waste water districts.
The Inside Sales Associate is our principal interface
with customers. He handles incoming phone calls from customers,
seeking to meet their needs in every way possible.
Activities
include:
- Solve application
problems for customer
- Recommend
and quote appropriate products
- Close sales
and enter orders
- Follow up
on quotes and orders
- Coordinate
with Outside Sales staff for customer support
- Contact
vendor offices for application assistance, quotations,
order status, etc.
Requirements:
The desired candidate will have a technical degree, and
over 5 years of sales experience, understanding of industrial
processes, and experience with instrumentation and controls.
He/she can project a warm, friendly personality over the
telephone, has a passion for customer service, and will
have demonstrated success in similar positions.
Skills will
include understanding of process control and automation
systems, familiarity with a wide range of sensors and
controls, and general computer literacy.
