Slot & Part Sensing Arrays

• Slot sensors are devices that detect objects that pass between two arms, one with an emitter and the other with a receiver. The fixed slot width of these sensors allows for reliable detection of objects as small as 0.30 mm. Slot sensors are ideal for applications such as counting, sensing parts on conveyor rails and belts, and detecting edges.
  

• Label sensors are designed to reliably detect either the labels or their backing for use on labeling equipment. These rugged, high-speed sensors have a response speed of up to 40µs (15 kHz switching frequency) for increased position accuracy. The sensors are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to fit nearly any labeling application, and they can be custom-configured to meet the specific needs of the customer.
  

• Array sensors are a type of sensor that can provide a wide area of detection. These sensors are commonly used for leading edge detection or Pick-to-Light applications. Array sensors can have different resolutions for different sized objects. Some array sensors can reliably see objects as small as 6 mm or extremely flat objects, such as an envelope.
